  Louise is a passionate and patient pianist, with over 20 years of playing experience and recently gaining a BA (Hons) in Music from The Open University. 

  Her teaching style is relaxed, fun, and creative—perfect for helping young learners feel confident and excited about music. Focusing on building a strong foundation while also encouraging creativity through improvisation.

  Louise also enjoys teaching in a primary school and is especially interested in music therapy and supporting children who may feel nervous about performing.  Having worked through the ABRSM Piano Grades herself, she understands the journey and loves helping children discover their own musical path.

  In her spare time she enjoys improvising and writing her own compositions, also playing the violin in a local orchestra and also has a cat who considers himself a vital part of the music-making process — especially when it involves sitting on sheet music.
